Discover South Africa's incredibly scenic Garden Route, with city-to-coast stays and a wildlife reserve experience, complete with four game drives - breakfast, flights and car hire included

Landing in cosmopolitan Cape Town, you'll spend your first three nights at Protea Hotel Cape Town Sea Point, which boasts bright and modern accommodation as well as spectacular views of the sea and mountains. You'll have each day free to do exactly as you please; perhaps taking the cable-car to the top of looming Table Mountain, visiting Cape Point, strolling along the V&A Waterfront, wandering the verdant Kirstenbosch Gardens or viewing the city's colonial buildings.

You'll then travel east to Paarl, for two nights in the Cape Winelands at Cascade Country Manor - a former royal residence. It's all about the nature here, with plenty of unspoilt terrain to walk, cycle or mountain bike your way through, enjoying breathtaking scenery all the while.

Next, you'll cruise east along the serene Garden Route, for a relaxing night at the Harbour House Hotel in Hermanus. This is a great spot for whale watching and shark spotting, which you can indulge in from the hotel's ocean-view pool. Whilst here, take the opportunity to stop at Cape Agulhas - the southernmost tip of the continent of Africa, and the crossroads of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.

It's on to Knysna next, for two nights at The Rex Hotel. Expect simple but chic style here, with elegantly modern guest rooms and a café-restaurant serving the freshest ingredients. Take some time to explore Knysna's bright and bustling dining scene, with multicultural seafood options taking centre-stage, and enjoy a leisurely hike along one of many trails to discover the town's woodcutting heritage, scenic parks and gardens.

You'll make tracks for Sibuya Game Reserve next, where you'll spend two incredible nights steeped in the beauty and wildlife of this malaria-free expanse. Park your car in a secure space in Kenton-on-Sea, before flexing your sea legs for a short boat ride to the reserve - where riverside tented accommodation, authenticity and utter seclusion await. As well as enjoying four game drives as part of your stay, nature-lovers and relaxation-seekers can both expect a most memorable sojourn with canoeing, fly fishing, river cruises and beach walks all on hand.

Your sixth and final destination is Port Elizabeth, where your port of call will be Paxton Hotel - a modern abode where traditional decorative accents make for a cosy and authentic place to unwind and end your trip in style. Take in the far-reaching Algoa Bay views, kick back by the outdoor pool, or try your luck at the Broadwalk Casino before reluctantly catching your flight back home.
