A serene stay at an award-winning Georgian country house hotel with an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, including full English breakfast and dinner options

Set in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the award-winning Glewstone Court Country House is an iconic Grade II-listed Georgian manor house, with stunning views across Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean. Glewstone Court Country House was part of the estate of Guys Hospital in the early 18th century and home to some very distinguished gentry, including Lieutenant Colonel Basil Jackson and Lieutenant General Sir Francis Nosworthy.

Its two AA Rosette-awarded restaurant is popular, serving dishes prepared with ingredients sourced within a 30-mile radius whenever possible. The hotel lies just under a 10-minute drive from the picturesque village of Symonds Yat and is close to plenty of lovely walking routes, biking trails, canoeing, fishing and horse riding.

Awarded a Good Hotel Award for three consecutive years as well as a GOLD Award, Glewstone Court Country House is family-run, warm, friendly and full of character. The hotel has some unique Georgian and Regency features and has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. It boasts a pretty garden, a drawing room with a roaring fire in winter and a hunting lodge-style bar a wood burner. The hotel earned itself a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and holds two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
