Kruger National Park

An incredible journey from the Western Cape all the way up to Kruger, including travel and a full-board safari experience with game drives

Landing in cosmopolitan Cape Town, you'll spend your first three or six nights at Protea Hotel by Marriott Cape Town Sea Point, which boasts bright and modern accommodation as well as spectacular views of the sea and mountains. You'll have each day free to do exactly as you please; perhaps taking the cable-car to the top of looming Table Mountain, visiting Cape Point, strolling along the V&A Waterfront, wandering the verdant Kirstenbosch Gardens or viewing the city's colonial buildings.

Next you'll drive past the vineyards, crashing coastlines and countryside to the historic town of Stellenbosch in the Winelands, where you'll stay for two nights at the elegant River Manor Boutique Hotel, which sits on the banks of a sleepy river, surrounded by gardens. Sample the area's exceptional dining options, head out on a private wine tasting trip and be sure to take advantage of the hotel's stylish French spa.

You'll then spend a night in Johannesburg before travelling to the world-famous Kruger National Park, to spend three or four nights at the luxurious Elandela Lodge. Venturing out on two game drives each day, you'll scan the wild landscape for grazing giraffes, skittish antelopes, curious monkeys and of course, the Big Five - all at home among their preserved, natural habitat.

What is a deposit?

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).

We've added deposit-only sales to enable our members to get early-bird access to more amazing holidays, and because we know that planning and paying for a holiday can take time.
